New Glyphboard arrangement

Looks like Neven Mrgan updated Glyphboard, the character palette offline web app for iPhone OS. As you can see from the pics, the degree symbol º has been replaced by the en-dash as per this blog entry and the circle with a dot in it on the bottom left corner is also gone, replaced by the envelope icon. Unfortunately he seemed to have forgotten to refine the yin yang symbol to fit in the corner so for now it doesn't look as nice.

Glyphboard

I'd forgotten to post about this the other day. Glyphboard for iPhone would be the equivalent of the invaluable Character Palette on the Mac.

Interesting how this web app can actually run offline on the iPhone or iPod touch and does not seem to invoke Safari. You hold a finger on a glyph to copy it to the text bar and copy it again from the text bar to use in your email, twitter or other text based app. Of course, this wouldn't work if you don't have OS 3.0 installed.

I heart Neven Mrgan.

Why Twitterfon is a piece of crap

Updated to the latest version and these error messages remain regardless. Happened across OS and across app versions.

"not an error" O RLY?
